Research in the Language and Learning Disorders Laboratory examines the interplay between cognition and language acquisition in children who struggle with learning language, with a primary emphasis on children with Specific Language Impairment. Our research efforts center on identifying the nature of their learning difficulties and improving existing assessment procedures for this population.
